Walking to School

The kids heard about some other homeschool families in which the children walk to school. They thought this sounded like fun. So, one morning, I had them pack up their bags, and walk around the cul-de-sac. Guess what? The bags were heavy! ;) I didn't even send them with ALL of their books.

The kids did great! They stayed more-or-less together, and checked for cars before crossing the street.
