2016

Harry Potter Scene It! game to bring in the new year! Plus, plenty of time for games, food, shopping, reading, and talks. The adults even went out to dinner without kids, thanks to 2 awesome nieces who tackled dinner & bedtime with our 4 blessings!

We got to see coffee roasting at the coffee shop, and JMC enjoyed helping with that so much that he now wants to learn all about coffee before becoming a fireman. (And he's made coffee several times since we've been home.)

White elephants and other fun

This may have been our most enjoyable Christmas so far. We had a wonderful Nochebuena with Papi's sisters and their families, and the Q family. JT & JA sang in church, and then we all had a great time snacking, eating tamales, joking, chatting, and of course exchanging gifts. Everyone partipated in the white elephant gift exchange this year, and it did not disappoint. There was a perfect mix of desired gifts and gag gifts, and plenty of goofiness as well.

Christmas day was much calmer; we enjoyed spending the day with Grandma & Grandpa, and Mami's aunt, uncle, & cousins.
